% of Arrivals are Sure to Improve

I work more with the front desk and billing portion of the clinic. FINALLY I have an awareness of what I need to see in a patient to effectively close him on a payment/financial problem. Not only that, but our % of arrivals are sure to improve after our receptionist receives this data. She will have tools now to confront and handle the numerous barriers patients presents at the front desk.

Realized What I Did Wrong

This has been a very valuable course because it made me realize what I have been doing wrong in talking to patients and how I can change myself. It thought me the importance of questions and leading patients to the right answers instead of me telling them.

An Organized Way to Close Potential Clients.

What this course had done is help me put together an organized and I hope successful way to “close” any potential clients. Not only in business ($) perspective but also to be able to successfully show my intent to help. It has changed my perspective of thinking of me as a sales person to becoming a “helper” and “enabler”. This has placed me in a much “happier” state of mind.

Effectively Treat More People and Improve Business

Before this course I would have success with selling services to patients “on the fence” about using the services. Now I feel confident that I can be much more effective at selling these services and convincing a patient to buy into and complete a treatment plan. This will help me, in the end, to treat people effectively and improve business.

Keeping a steady referral base coming to the clinic

After completing the Patient Compliance Course I believe I am better equipped to successfully treat and address all my patients’ needs. It helped me formulate appropriate questions and the manner in which I progress my patient through their experience with Physical Therapy. I believe that this will in turn help to keep a steady referral base of patients coming through the clinics doors.

Do Not Plan on Succeeding in Private Practice Without this Knowledge

Wow! Sales is everything. Before doing this course I thought our stats were great. Our percent prescribed was greater than 90%. But this course was an eye opener for me and my staff. After doing this course I know we will close an even greater percentage and get the patients that simply call for info to arrive!

I had the course delivered in my office so that I could put my staff through it with me and I was amazed at the response. Some of my staff came into the course with a predetermined way of how they thought they should be communicating with patients and this course helped them to develop a big picture view of how to sell patients and Doctors. I know my staff felt that they came away from the Patient Compliance Course with more tools.

The bottom line is, do not plan on succeeding in private practice without this knowledge. If you cannot sell you are loosing a ton of money so my advice is, either do this course or sell your practice.

This Course is Applicable to Everyone

"The Patient Compliance Course is applicable to everyone from the front desk to PR", according to John Twomey, PT and owner of PRO Therapy in Arizona.

John just recently had staff from all of the divisions of his practice trained by a supervisor from Measurable Solutions who flew to his office for a jam packed weekend of course work.

"Incredible! I wish every PT knew this before they graduated. Then they would know how to BE autonomous professionals", John Twomey.

John's staff were equally thrilled with having done the course and wrote that they now felt confident in closing patients to pay for their treatments by showing the patients that the services are valuable and worth paying for.

What Therapists Are Saying About The Patient Compliance Course

I have come to the realization tht we as treating therapists are responsible for and able to create the committment to the treatment plan for the patient. It plays a huge role in the patient's success and will lead to greater success for the clinic and in my own personal dreams for success.

Wendy Baines, PT

On the Patient Compliance Course, I have really learned how to handle patients from the first hand-shake to the final discharge. I now understand how my patients think, feel and what motivates them better than I ever did before. I feel much more confident in handling patient objections/obstacles and I realize how to success with all of my patients. This course was excellent!

Matthew Stott, PT

The Patient Compliance Course has taken me to the next level in getting patient to be more compliant and finishing their plan of care. This course gives me the tools to go to the next level and ensure the patient feels the genuine concern for them and their treatment.

Matt Jackson, PT

The Patient Compliance Course has been very helpful in learning ways to get patients to agree to paying for physical therapy. If we follow these steps we should be able to get the business to grow.

Lydia Radosevich, PT

This course has improved my ability to better understand my patients. To see how they are feeling from their point of view. Having a better understanding of patients will allow me to communicate better with them, helping them understand what we have to offer. The information learned in this course will definitely improve patient compliance and most importantly improve patient outcomes.

John Gianfortone, PT

I Found Out Why Patients Drop Off The Schedule

I have always felt comfortable communicating to my patients from the first meeting. I never felt like I didn't get across to my patients what they needed and how I would facilitate their progress towards goals. But nevertheless my patients and our clinics patients in general would occasionally drop off or become chronic cancellations. And we couldn't figure out why. The Patient Compliance Course has done a fantastic job of teaching me how to hook the patient through gaining their agreement and seeing the undeniable value of what physical therapy can offer them. To the point where they agree to whatever it takes to help them achieve their own goals and follow through the entire plan of care to discharge.

A No-Fail Technique for Obtaining Patient Compliance

By Brad Boehm, PT

The Patient Compliance Course is probably the most powerful thing I have encountered anywhere. With it, my ability to truly get my services applied to patients and get paid will be unlimited.

The data will help break through any barriers that I left previously unhandled because I was not aware of them. Patient compliance will be through the roof in my practice!

This is a step-by-step, easily learned, no-fail technique that will change my practice for the better.

Since my earlier experiences with Measurable Solutions on the New Patient Course and the executive training where so positive. I knew that when I did the course that I should bring someone with me. I chose to bring one of my therapists and it was a great decision.

Following the completion of the Patient Compliance Course he wrote a great success story that I want to share.

"Before the Patient Compliance Course I had gained plenty of confidence in my skills as a therapist but I continued to struggle with patients ending their treatment course prematurely and settling all obstacles in the initial evaluations. With the tools I have now, I know that I can get the patients what the need and help them to not only make their own, right decisions, but to get them to feel confident in their decisions too." - Peter McLeod, PT

Recent Patient Compliance Course Success Stories

We continue to enjoy a solid, four month normal trend since we took the Patient Compliance Course and are reaching the goals for Patient Visits and Production that we set for fourth quarter last year and the end of the first quarter this year. Incorporating the Patient Compliance Course material into our Free Consultations is converting those people into new patients at a rate we have never before enjoyed. Thank You Measurable Solutions!

I have worked for Full Potential as a PT technician, receptionist and office manager and it is amazing to me how applicable the Patient Compliance course is to each of these positions. This course has really taught me that every individual in our company is a salesperson. It has really made me realize that we have a high quality product that people want and need - an it is my job to get it to them! This course has enlightened me on the idea that sales isn't just about profit - it is about caring enough about your patient to get them to see your service is of value to them. Everybody should take this course! Without it you will be losing business everyday!

Use It or Lose It!

by Dr. Kevin J. McGovern, PT, CSCS - McGovern Physical Therapy Associates

I wanted to take some time out of my schedule to write about the value of the Patient Compliance Course. This course teaches you and your staff how to sell which is taboo in some areas of the physical therapy world. Those people usually work for hospitals or large organizations. They do not have to create their paycheck; YOU DO!

If you think that you, as a clinician or practice owner do not need to know how to sell, you may want to re-think your business model. You have to sell everyday to your patients.

Here is a simple example. A patient comes in and after the evaluation, you determine that their plan of care will be 3 times a week for 4 weeks. They say they can only really make in 1 to 2 times a week due to work, co-pay cost and the like. How do you get that patient to come in for the plan of care that you prescribed? YOU SELL IT TO THEM!

The great thing about this course is that when you really think about it, every member of your practice has to sell. Your front desk has to sell in order to get their percentage of arrivals up. Your collection people have to sell in order to get insurance adjusters to cut the check faster. Your referral coordinator has to sell to get her referrals faster. Do you see now?

This course is vital to the continues success of your organization. I had Measurable Solutions deliver this course right in my office for 18 of my staff members. Only 3 of these staff members had been to Clearwater for other training. The course was a huge hit for everyone! All of my staff took to the easy methods with vigor and enthusiasm. I would suggest delivering this course to as many staff members as you can.

At my practice we have taken the course a step further. Like any new skill you must use it or you lose it! All of our staff is trained to report back to their supervisor if they fail to close on someone or something that they tried to sell. The staff member must look up in the Patient Compliance Course exactly what step they missed or did not use. They then re-read the section in order to continue to grow comfortable with the material.

All of the reports are routed to our Corrections Department. We look for patterns or situations that keep occurring. We then re-educate and drill so the situation doesn’t occur again.

In closing, if you want continued growth and stability of your practice, this course is a necessity!

The Best Course I've Taken Yet At Measurable Solutions

It has only been a couple weeks since the three of us completed the course, but we have applied the Patient Compliance Course data by revising the form we use for free consultations to improve our percentage of client contacts who make an appointment for a free consultation and to increase the percentage of those who become patients in our system. We also shared and drilled the revised format with everyone at staff meeting last week. So far, we have been able to use the revised approach at a health fair in a large Chicago law firm, where we could only talk to clients, not examine (or evaluate) them. In just a few hours, my staff had scheduled over ten free consultation appointments, a record for us, with six more clients asking us to call them to schedule appointments later. The feedback from staff using the approach with new patients has been quite positive. PT staff report feeling that they are communicating much more effectively with patients, and that the Patient Compliance Course data has helped patients understand their own conditions much more like we understand them, and so feel the same urgency that we do to get the condition handled.

I'm excited about the improved product that this data is helping us to get, namely patients who are very happy and satisfied with the treatment they received, and eager to refer friends, family, and co-workers to us. Now that's a formula that can help to counteract POPTS.

Thank you so much for the best course I've taken yet at Measurable Solutions.
